What is Amaati? It is derived from Amati, a Sanskrit word defining splendour and lustre.
Going out for a meal can often prove more of a challenge than it’s worth, with a plethora of good eateries to choose from now. Whether it’s for a warm family reunion or a romantic date location, Amaati pushes the boundaries on what we know about Indian food and the result is deliciously different. With a friendly atmosphere and comforting food, you're bound to enjoy dining at Amaati.
Amaati is the destination to go to for delicious food and an atmospheric evening.
Above all, we cook with honesty and passion. At every instance, we aim to enchant our guests with a vibrant Indian culture, and cuisine of the highest calibre. We have a wide selection of dishes for vegetarian food lovers, and can gladly cater for all dietary requirements.
Shortly after opening, Amaati was rated number one restaurant in Thane by independent reviewers and food bloggers. This is largely due to our chef's philosophy that Indian and International cuisine should be prepared using a very clean and fresh approach to ancient recipes where the taste and flavours become the most enjoyable. This approach mixed with a dynamic team of servers in the restaurant, trained personally by our chefs, has become a formula for our success. Our chefs are now looking towards the bigger picture and hope to carry their vision of giving diners great food, excellent personalised service, at affordable prices, to other cuisines.
Food brings us joy and we want it to do the same for you, so our portions are generous, and our food is flavoursome. Simple, modest, no-nonsense service – our food is beautifully presented but we don’t go over the top. Sometimes less is more and we believe it’s all about the taste. Flexible and diverse menus – we love to get creative here at Amaati and we’re always on the lookout for new, exciting ideas and concepts. We’re continuously adapting and shaping our menus to keep up with what’s current and to bring to life our client’s vision.
